RESOLUTION NO. 15 417
Resolution Concerning The Community Relations Task Force
and Amending Resolution No. 1478 as Amended.
WHEREAS, the City Council after due deliberation and
consideration concerning the difficulties in obtaining full
membership on the Community Relations Task Force and the problems
associated with a 13 member board,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Paragraph No. 1 of Resolution No. 1478 as amended by
Resolution No. 1617, is hereby amended to read as follows:
1. Creation of a Community Relations Task Force. There is
hereby established an advisory committee to be known as
the "Community Relations Task Force" (hereafter referred
to as the "Task Force"). The Task Force shall consist of
nine (9) members; one (1) representative from each council
district; and four (4) representatives at large.
Representation will reflect a good cross section of the
city, to-wit, employer, labor, religious, racial, ethnic
and woman's groups. Appointments shall be made by the
Mayor, with the approval of the City Council.
Resolution No. 1478 shall otherwise in all respects remain
the same.
PASSED this I// day of November, 1985 and approved by
the Mayor.
