RESOLUTION NO 1690
A RESOLUTION approving petition for annexation election
WHEREAS, the City Council, following a public meeting upon the
attached petition calling for an election to vote upon the annexation
of unincorporated territory contiguous to the City of Pasco, has determined
the petition to be proper and it appearing that an annexation election
is in the best interest of the city, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON
DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
1 That certain petition, a copy of which is attached hereto,
calling for an election to vote upon the annexation of unincorporated
territory contiguous to the City of Pasco, which unincorporated territory
is described in the petition and signed by a sufficient number of qualified
electors resident in such territory, is hereby approved and the proposed
action requested therein calling for an election to vote upon the annexation
of said unincorporated territory is also approved
2 The City Clerk shall cause to be filed with the County Commission
for Franklin County a copy of this resolution and the attached petition
A copy of this resolution and attached petition shall also be filed with
the Franklin County Boundary Review Board as provided for in Chapter
36 93 RCW
