A RESOLUTION authorizing the City Manager to sign and/or
execute any and all documents necessary to
apply for and secure Economic Development
Administration (EDA) Grant funding for the
Oregon Avenue Extension Project
WHEREAS, the City of Pasco desires to initiate and complete
the Oregon Avenue Extension Project, including an overpass,
to connect with Ainsworth Street, and
WHEREAS, the City has been invited by the Economic Development
Administration (EDA) to apply for EDA Grant Funds, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has been apprised of the details
of the project as well as the EDA Grant invitation, and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the importance of
expediting the EDA Grant application process to avoid the
possibility that the project would be delayed for a full year,
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO
That the Pasco City Council does hereby authorize the
City Manager to sign and otherwise execute any and all documents
that may be necessary to apply for and secure EDA Grant funding
for the Oregon Avenue Extension Project
