HomeMy WebLinkAbout1640 ResolutionATTE City Cler cATPROVED,\A TO ORYN \ RESOLUTION NO 1640 A RESOLUTION to the Ben Franklin Transit Authority on senior transportation for the City of Pasco WHEREAS, the Pasco Senior Citizens Advisory Committee desires to continue with the current program of using the senior citizen van under the auspices of Ben Franklin Transit, and WHEREAS, the Ben Franklin Transit Dial-A-Ride System was tested at the Pasco Senior Center and was found lacking, and WHEREAS, the City's per boarding cost is $2 00 compared with the Dial-A-Ride cost of roughly $4 50 per boarding, and WHEREAS, there is a responsibility for Ben Franklin Transit to respond to the needs of the senior citizens for transportation, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO Section 1 That the Ben Franklin Transit Authority set aside and appropriate an amount of at least Nine Thousand Dollars ($9,000) in the 1985 Transportation Budget for the Senior Transportation Program in the City of Pasco Section 2 That the Ben Franklin Transit Authority, on the rationale that it is cost effective to subsidize the existing City of Pasco Senior Transportation Program, continues to provide funding as indicated above PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 6 day of August , 1984 breg A pbgtello, CifY\Attorney \ RESOLUTION NO 1641 A RESOLUTION ordering the segregation of L.I D Account No 113-002-121 into two (2) accounts, as requested by Mr Jessie Cleveland WHEREAS, Jessie Cleveland has requested that the final aVsessment for L I.D. Account No 113-002-121 be segregated into two (2) individual assessments, and WHEREAS, state law_provides for such segregation of assessments by provisions of R.0 W. 35 44.410, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO Section One The City Treasurer is hereby directed to segregate the following described original assessment as confirmed by Council action in Ordinance No 2326 passed December 21, 1981 LEGAL DESCRIPTION ORIGINAL PRINCIPAL ASSESSMENT LESS BALANCE AMOUNT PAYMENTS DUE Lots 3 through 14, Block 3, Wehe's 1st Addition $17,437 12 -0- $17,437 12 into the following revised assessments Lots 13 & 14, Block 3, Wehe's 1st Addition 3,865 67 -0- 3,865 67 Lots 3-12, Block 3, Wehe's 1st Addition 13,571.45 -0- 13,571 45 Section Two The Community Development Block Grant Program shall pay a fee of Ten Dollars ($10 00) for each of the segregated parcels of land for a total of twenty dollars ($20 00), as provided in R C.W 35 44 410 Section Three The Block Grant Program shall additionally pay a fee of fifty dollars ($50 00) for each of the segregated parcels of land for a total of one-hundred dollars ($100 00) to cover administrative costs incidental to making the segregation, as provided by R C W 35 44 410 Section Four. Assistance Program cannot provide financial assistance for vacant land and my L.I.D. account includes both my home and vacant land, I hereby request the above-referenced L.I.D. Account be segregated as outlined herein below. This request is made for the sole purpose of qualifying for L.I.D. Assistance and, further, is made with the understanding that all costs associated with this segregation will be paid by the city Block Grant Program and that I will not be held liable for any of the costs associated with the segregation.
