A RESOLUTION designating September 21-22, 1984,
as WNP-2 Dedication and Celebration
Days
WHEREAS, the Washington Public Power Supply System
will dedicate WNP-2 on September 22, 1984, signifying its
completion and commercial power generation capacity, and
WHEREAS, the citizens of Pasco and the Tr-Cities were
instrumental in the construction and completion of WNP-2,
demonstrating perseverance and dedication and giving directly
and indirectly of their time, talent, skills and resources,
and
WHEREAS, the citizens of Pasco feel d sense of pride
and community accomplishment associated with the completion
and commercial operations of WNP-2, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO
That Friday and Saturday, September 21-22, 1984, are
designated as WNP-2 DeCicaticn and Celebration Days and
the citizens of Pasco are urged to demonstrate their pride
of Pasco and their contributions to the completion and
commercial operation of WNP-2
PASSED by the City Counc.L.1 of the City of Pasco this
