A RESOLUTION rescinding Resolution No 1558 and amending
Resolution No 1478 relating to the
Community Relations Task Force
WHEREAS, the Minority Coalition no longer exists as a viable
entity, it is necessary that the method of selecting the Community
Relations Task Force membership be revised, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO
1 Resolution No 1558 is hereby rescinded
2 Paragraph Number One of Resolution No 1478, passed
by the City Council on the 18th day of January, 1982, is hereby
amended to read as follows
1 Creation of a Community Relations Task Force
There is hereby established an advisory committee to
be known as the "Community Relations Task Force"
(hereinafter referred to as the "Task Force") The
Task Force shall consist of thirteen (13) members,
one (1) representative from each Council district,
and seven (7) representatives at-large; one (1)
additional representative to be chosen by the Pasco
School District Representation will reflect a good
cross section of the city, to wit, employer, labor,
religious, racial, ethnic and women's groups
Appointments shall be made by the Mayor, with the
approval of the City Council
3 Resolution No 1478 shall otherwise in all respects
remain the same
PASSED this 6 day of February
, 1984,
by the Pasco City Council and approved by the Mayor
