Box 293 Pasco, Washington 99301 Dear Jim: Subject: Thirty-Six-Inch Waterline Relocation for 1-182 Recommendation of Project Acceptance As we stated in our letter of November 3, 1983, all work on the subject project was substantially complete, as defined by the contract documents, by the extended completion date of August 30, 1983, by the Hughes-Sillers Construction Company, Inc. We understand the final adjustment of the motorized valve, referenced in our letter of November 3, 1983, has been made. We therefore recommend that this completed project be accepted by the City. We, or our authorized agent, have inspected the subject project, which as to layout, size, and type of pipe, valves, and materials and other designed physical facilities has generally been constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications. In our opinion, based on information avail- able to us, the installation, testing, and disinfection of the project were carried out in accordance with the specifications.
