RESOLUTION NO. 1590
A RESOLUTION relating to the schedule for rates and
charges for cable television service
under the nonexclusive franchise granted
Micro-Cable Communications Corporation
and amending Resolution No. 1562 by the
addition of a monthly rate for a deluxe
cordless remote converter.
WHEREAS, the city council on February 7, 1983 passed
Resolution No. 1562 which established the schedule for rates
and charges for cable television service under the nonexclu-
sive franchise granted to Micro-Cable Communications Corporation;
and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1562 provides for the monthly
charges that may be made for basic residential service to be
effective when Micro-Cable Communications Corporation, doing
business as Columbia Television Company activates and programs
a minimum of twenty-four (24) channels; and
WHEREAS, the monthly rates for basic residential service
in Resolution No. 1562 provides for a monthly rate of $2.50 for
a cordless remote converter and Columbia Television Company now
proposes to offer as an option a deluxe cordless remote converter
which includes a volume variation control and sound muting control;
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish a monthly rate for
the deluxe cordless remote converter and the city council finds
the monthly rate of $6.00 or less, depending upon the services
taken by a subscriber, to be fair and reasonab]e and in line with
the rates previously established in Resolution No. 1562, now,
therefore,
THE PASCO CITY COUNCIL DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Resolution No. 1562 passed the 7th day of February, 1983,
is hereby amended by the addition of a deluxe cordless remote
converter as a service that may be offered at the montly rate
of $6.00 or less, depending upon the services taken by a sub-
scriber, at no additional installation charge, under § 1,
paragraph (a), (AA) Basic Residential Service of said resolution.
