1580
A RESOLUTION authorizing UPARR grant application and committing
local matching funds.
WHEREAS, the City of Pasco Urban Parks Recovery Program,
as amended under Resolution No.J 579 , identifies the rehabilitation
of Kurtzman and Richardson neightiOthood parks as a project of the
highest priority; and
WHEREAS, the City of Pasco is eligible to apply for federal
financial assistance under the Urban Parks and Recreation Recovery
Program managed by the National Park Service, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
1) That Leland F. Kraft, City Manager, hereby is
authorized to sign and execute any and all documents necessary to
file application for and secure 8175,000 UPARR funding for the
rehabilitation of Kurtzman and Richardson Parks.
2) That the balance of the estimated project cost (875,000)
is available and committed to this project, subject to UPAPR grant
award.
