RESOLUTION NO 1572
A PESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PASCO AMENDING RESOLUTION NO
1067 WHICH ESTABLISHED A PROCEDURE FOR HANDLING CLAIMS
AGAINST THE CITY IN AMOUNTS UNDER $300 00
wHEREAS, a high percentage of the claims made by individuals against the
City of Pasco are in the sum of $1,000 or less, and
WHEREAS, Resolution No 1067 established a procedure to implement the
handling of claims in the amount of $300 or less at an administrative level,
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 It is hereby declared that Resolution No 1067 shall be
amended to provide that claims of $1,000 or less shall be handled administratively
Section 2 Sections 1 and 2 of Resolution No 1067 shall be amended to
read as follows
Section It is hereby declared the policy of the City 1
of Pasco to handle claims made against the City in the
amount of $1,000 00 or less at an administrative level
Section 2 At such time the Clerk receives any claim in
the amount of $1,000 00 or less, a copy of said claim
shall be sent to the City Attorney to the City Manager,
and to the head of the department which would be most
familiar with the subject matter of the claim
