RESOLUTION NO 1538
WHEREAS, The City of Pasco and the Pasco Police Benefit Association
have a three-year Collective Bargaining Agreement due to expire on December
31, 1983, and
WHEREAS, This Agreement does provide that the only subject open for
Collective Negotiations for calendar, 1983, is the monthly salary schedule
for 1983, and
WHEREAS, The Pasco Police Benefit Association and the City of Pasco
have been engaged in bargaining sessions for 1983 salaries, and
WHEREAS, The Pasco Police Benefit Association and the City of Pasco have
reached agreement on the 1983 monthly salary schedule, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO
Section 1 That Appendix "A" in the existing agreement is hereby
rescinded and in lieu thereof, the attached Appendix "A",''entitled "1983
Monthly Salaries Applicable to Association Employees" is made a part of
subject agreement
Section 2 That the City Manager,on behalf of theiCity of Pascb is
authorized to affix the City's approval in the 1983 monthly salary schedule

The Pasco Police Association has met and discussed the pronosed agreement
for 1903 wage negotiations The Association has agreed to accept the offer from
the city
1,1e ,/ould like to thank the city and the negotiating team for their efforts,
especially in the area of the evidence technician and the "Dank" of sick hours
for LEOFF II officers
Please advise when the final contract is ready for signing

APPENDIX "A" TO THE 1981 - 1983 COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT
BETWEEN CITY OF PASCO AND PASCO POLICE BENEFIT ASSOCIATION
