FRANKLIN COUNTY RESOLUTION NO. VL-111
A JOINT RESOLUTION for the withdrawal of the Cit y of Pasco
and Franklin Count y from the Benton
Franklin Council on A g in g .
WHEREAS, within Franklin Count y and the Cit y of Pasco senior
citizen or g anizations exist capable of handlin g pro g rams and repre-
sentation for Franklin Count y senior citizens e q ual to or exceedin g
the abilit y of the Benton Franklin Council on A g in g , and
WHEREAS, the actions of the Benton Franklin Council on A g in g
has openl y conflicted with the desires of Franklin Count y senior
citizens, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO AND THE COMMISSIONERS TO
FRANKLIN COUNTY DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS.
The Cit y of Pasco and Franklin Count y each hereb y withdraws
its membership and representation on the Benton Franklin Council
on 7li g 1n g . The Cit y Mana g er and the Commission Chairman shall each
direct a letter to the Benton Franklin Council on A g in g notif y in g
that council of the withdrawal of their respective j urisdiction.
