A RESOLUTION extending the expiration date for the preliminary
plats of Desert Plateau and Desert Wind Estates.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco approved the
preliminary plats of Desert Plateau and Desert Wind Estates in 1978
and 1979, respectively, after due public hearings and notice thereof;
and
WHEREAS, the plats of Desert Plateau and Desert Wind Estates
constitute large, phased residential subdivisions over a period of
years; and
WHEREAS, the prevailing economic conditions within the Tr-Cities
area and their effect on the housing market over the last two years
has made completion of either plat unfeasible economically; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO AS
FOLLOWS:
That the effective period of the preliminary plats of Desert
Plateau and Desert Wind Estates hereby are extended, to expire
January 1, 1986.
