RESOLUTION No. 1523
A RESOLUTION authorizing grant application and authorizing
the Mayor to sign the same.
WHEREAS, the City of Pasco is desirous to have proper and
adequate pavement markings, and
WHEREAS, the Washington State Department of Transportation
now has available to cities certain federal monies for such mark-
ings, and
WHEREAS, there is an obvious need in Pasco for such markings,
NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED that the city staff is authorized to pursue
obtaining grant monies for permanent pavement markings and further
that the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign on behalf of the city
all documents relating to said grant program that require legisla-
tive level approval by the city including specifically the project
prospectus and municipal agreement.
PASSED this 16 day of August , 1982, by the City
Council of the City of Pasco and approved by its Mayor.
