HomeMy WebLinkAbout1517 ResolutionRESOLUTION NO A RESOLUTION ordering the consolidation of LID No 97 Final Assessment No's 414, 415, 658, and 659, for Lots 7, 8, 9, and 10, Block 1, North Poplar Addition into the new Lots 1 and 2 Short Plat No 82-7, as requested by the property owner WHEREAS, David N and Mary E Bowers, property owners, have filed Short Plat No 82-7 for Lots 6 through 10, Block 1, North Poplar Addition This short plat changed Lot 10, Lot 9 and the west 50 feet of Lot 8 into Lot 1 of Short Plat No. 132-7, the east 10 feet of Lot 8 and Lot 7 into Lot 2 of Short Flat No 82-7 and Lot 6 into Lot 3 of Short Plat No 82-7 David N and Mary E Bowers have requested that the final assessments for LID No 97 415 for Lot 10, No 97 414 for Lot 9, and No 97 659 for Lot 8, be redistributed to correlate to the new Lot 1 of Short Plat No 82-7, and WHEREAS, state law provides for consolidation of assessments by the provisions of RCW 35 44 410, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO Section One The City Treasurer is hereby directed upon receipt of the fee stipulated below from the property owner, to consolidate the following described original assessments as confirmed by Council action in Ordinance No 1935 passed January 17, 1978 for LID No 97 LID NO LEGAL DESCRIPTION ORIGINAL ASSESSMENT AMOUNT LESS PAYMENTS ASSESSMENT AMOUNT DUE 97 658 Lot 7 Block 1 North Poplar $1,233 50 $ 567 43 $ 666 07 97 659 Lot 8 Block 1 North Poplar 934 04 429 64 504 40 97 414 Lot 9 Block 1 North Poplar 1,005 61 462 60 543 01 97 415 Lot 10 Block 1 North Poplar 1,439 48 662 14 777 34 TOTAL $4,612 63 $2,121 81 $2,490 82 into the following revised assessments 97 Lot 1 Short Plat No 82 7 $3,223 46 $1,482 77 $1,740 69 97 Lot 2 Short Plat No 82 7 1,389 17 639 04 750 13 TOTAL $4,612 63 $2,121 81 $2,490 82 Section Two The property owner shall pay a fee of Ten Dollrs ($10 00) for each of the original four (4) lots for a total of Forty Dollars ($40 00) Section Three The property owner shall additionally pay a fee of One Hundred Dollars ($100 00) to cover data processing costs incidental to making the consolidation, as provided by RCw 35 44 410 Section Four This consolidation of assessments shall be recorded as provided by law upon receipts of fees and calculation of the consolidated assessments PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 6 day of u 1 y , 1982 ;44:11;41' xAxxSIMARR;c/Ityar Ira L. Pasco, WA 99301 , Tuesday, June 8, 1982 CITY r--RK Ms Diane Dolan City of Pasco 412 W Clark Pasco, WA 99301 Dear Ms Dolan, A member of your staff has requested that we submit this letter in order to notify the City that we have filed a Short Plat (No 82-7) on our property legally described as Lots 6 through 10 inclusive, Block 1, North Poplar Addition A copy of that document is attached hereto for Your inspection The purpose of this Short Plat is to prepare a portion of our property (Lot 10, Lot 9 and the West 50 feet of Lot 8 or what is now Lot 1 of Short Plat No 82-7) for sale Because all of the aforementioned lots are currently encumbered by L I D 's, we would like to have the existing balances of these L 1 D 's redistributed so that they will be correlated to our three lots in the Short Plat referred to above The purpose of this is to allow the person who purchases Lot 1 (of Short Plat No 82-7) to assume a correct pro-rata share of the L I D 's on our property In other words, we would like to have the purchaser assume the L I D balances on Lot 10, Lot 9 and the West 50 feet of Lot 8, all of which is now Lot 1 of Short Plat No 82-7, after the sale is closed Thank you very much for your efforts on our behalf, Ms Dolan If you should need any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us or Ms Pamela Johnson at Benton-Franklin Title Company, who is the Escrow Officer handling the closing of the sale of Lot 1 of Short Plat No 82-7 for us Sincerely, 10-140/CC Mark Mathes - R L Smart Inc , Realtors '233-'45 " CC Pamela Johnson - Benton-Franklin Title Company CC File
