RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION initiating the vacation of a certain portion of
George Street in the City of Pasco and fixing a
time and place for a public hearing thereon.
WHEREAS, Local Improvement District No. 113 has recently
completed installation of streets and utilities serving certain
properties within Wehe's First Addition to Pasco; and
WHEREAS, the improvement of that portion of George Street
lying between Elm Avenue and Douglas Avenue was deemed unnecessary
for adequate circulation and utility extensions; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco desires to
determine whether or not said portion of the George Street right
of way should be vacated; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That a public hearing to consider the vacation of that
portion of George Street abutting Lots 1 and 28, Block 10, and
Lots 14 and 15, Block 11, all in A.M. Wehe's First Addition to
Pasco, will be held before the City Council of the City of Pasco
in the council chambers at City Hall, 412 West Clark Street, Pasco,
Washington, at the hour of 8:00 P.M., on the f ig- day of January,
1982, due notice of which shall be given by the City Clerk of the
City of Pasco.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 7 of
December , 1981.
