A RESOLUTION approving the transfer of certain real property
to the State Board for community college educa-
tion, pursuant to laws of 1953, Chapter 133,
Chapter 1, Session Laws of the State of Washington.
WHEREAS, Pasco, Washington, a municipal corporation, by and
through its City Council, has received an offer from the Board of
Trustees of Community College District No. 19 for the State of
Washington, to quit claim, the following described property:
The West and South 30 feet, and the East and
North 40 feet of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 24, T9N-R29E, Willamette Meridian,
belonging to the City of Pasco, Washington,
on the following terms and conditions:
The payment by the Board of Trustees of $50,000
toward the separate water pressure zone project
of the City of Pasco, Washington, on the contin-
gency that the Board of Trustees can legally
utilize money for payment to the City from the
proceeds of land that it will be conveying to
the State Department of Transportation, and,
The said Council of the City of Pasco, has determined that such
property is not necessary to the needs of said City, and is surplus
and excess to foreseeable needs of the City of Pasco.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO,
WASHINGTON, that subject to approval of the Superior Court of
Franklin County, Washington, pursuant to Chapter 133, Section 1,
laws of 1953, the transfer of said property be, and it hereby is,
approved on the terms and conditions hereinbefore set forth.
