RESOLUTION NO. 1459
A RESOLUTION of the City of Pasco authorizing the City to
enter into a contract with the Pasco Chamber
of Commerce for services for the year 1982
for a fee of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000).
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco deems it in the
City's best Interest to enter into a contract with the Pasco Chamber
of Commerce to provide services for the City of Pasco, NOW, THEREFORE,
The City Council of the City of Pasco does hereby resolve as
follows:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to execute the contract with the Pasco Chamber of Commerce, a copy
of which is attached hereto, and by this reference incorporated
herein.
Section 2. The Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) to be paid to
the Pasco Chamber of Commerce shall be paid from the City's hotel
motel tax fund.
Section 3. This resolution shall become effective on its
passage and as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council this 7 day of
October , 1981.

AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PASCO AND THE
PASCO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOR SERVICES FOR THE YEAR 1982
This agreement entered into this 7th day of October , 1981,
between the City of Pasco, a municipal corporation, hereinafter,
referred to as "City", and the Pasco Chamber of Commerce, herein-
after referred to as the "Chamber"; for and in consideration of the
mutual benefits to be derived hereby and in further consideration
of the sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) paid by the City to
the Chamber, the parties hereto agree as follows;
1. For 1982, the City has paid or shall have paid to the
Chamber, the sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000).
2. The Chamber shall provide services to the City promoting
tourism and encouraging community development, which services shall
include but not be limited to research, compilation and reproduction
of brochures and information relating to statistics on the commerce
and economic development in Pasco.
3. The Chamber shall further provide at its place of business
city maps for the use of citizens and visitors to the city.
4. The Chamber shall use all sums provided herein solely for
the purposes of promoting and encouraging tourism and community
development in the City of Pasco.
5. The Chamber shall on or before January 31, 1983, provide
to the City Council of City an annual report generally showing how
they have utilized the funds paid to them under the terms of this
agreement.
This agreement is made the day and year first above written.
