1455
A RESOLUTION accepting the Quit Claim Deed from Franklin County for Lots 25, 26
and 27, Block 12, Gray's Amended Addition to Pasco
WHEREAS, the reconstruction of the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Fourth
Lane provided an opportunity to improve the alignment at the intersection, and
WHEREAS, the necessary realignment required the acquisition of additional
right-of-way, and
WHEREAS, the needed property was owned by Franklin County, and
WHEREAS, an agreement was reached in which the property would be Quit Claim
Deeded from the County to the City of Pasco in consideration of the city's paying
off the assessments to the adjoining Lots 28, 29 and 30, Block 1, which were also
owned by Franklin County, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO
Section 1 That the City of Pasco will pay the outstanding assessments on
Lots 28, 29 and 30 of Block 12, Gray's Amended Addition to Pasco
Section 2 The City of Pasco hereby accepts the Quit Claim Deed for
Lots 25, 26 and 27, Block 12, Gray's Amended Addition to the City of Pasco from
Franklin County
Section 3 The accepted properties, Lots 25, 26 and 27, Block 12, Gray's
Amended Addition to Pasco shall be maintained on the records as being a part of
the city's Public Works Department for the purpose of street uses
Section 4 That the City Clerk of the City of Pasco shall record the
Quit Claim Deed with Franklin County as prescribed by law
