HomeMy WebLinkAbout1432 ResolutionRESOLUTION NO. 1432 A RESOLUTION initiating the vacation of certain streets and alleys in the City of Pasco and fixing a time and place for a public hearing thereon. WHEREAS, Local Improvement District No. 106 has recently completed installation of streets and utilities within the neighborhood bounded by West "A" Street on the north, South 10th Avenue on the west, Ainsworth Street on the south and South 4th Avenue on the east; and WHEREAS, the Community Development Policy Plan adopted under Ordinance No. 2143 in March 1980 encourages the coordinated vacation of unnecessary rights-of-way and elimination of alleys wherever practical; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has reviewed the circulation and land development patterns within the neighbor- hood and recommended the City Council initiate the vacation of the streets and alleys hereinafter described; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, That a public hearing to consider the vacation of those portions of certain streets and alleys hereinafter described will be held before the City Council of the City of Pasco in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 412 West Clark Street, Pasco, Washington, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. on the 20th day of July, 1981, due notice of which shall be given by the City Clerk of the City of Pasco. STREETS South 4th Lane: 10 feet along both sides between "A" and "C" Streets. South 5th Avenue: 10 feet along both sides between "A" and "B" Streets; 10 feet along the west side between "B" and "C" Streets. South 6th Avenue: 10 feet along both sides between "B" Street and Ainsworth Street. South 7th Avenue: 10 feet along both sides between "A" Street and Ainsworth Street. South 7th Lane: 10 feet along both sides between "A" Street and Ainsworth Street. South 8th Avenue: 10 feet along both sides between "A" Street and Ainsworth Street. South 9th Avenue: 10 feet along the east side between "A" and "B" Streets; 20 feet along the east side between "B" Street and Ainsworth Street. "B" Street: "C" Street: 10 feet along both sides between South 4th Avenue and South 9th Avenue. All of "C" Street between a point 10 feet west of the east line of South 4th Lane and the east line of Lot 17, Block 5, Gray's Amended Addition; 10 feet along both sides of "C" Street between South 4th Lane and South 7th Avenue; 10 feet along both sides of "C" Street between South 7th Lane and South 8th Avenue; all of "C" Street between South 9th Avenue and South 10th Avenue. ALLEYS A: The east half of the east-west alley in Block 5, Gray's Amended Addition; B: All of the east-west alley in Block 9, Gantenbein's Addition; C: All of the east-west alley in Block 10, Gantenbein's Addition; D: All of the east-west alley in Block 11, Gantenbein's Addition; E: All of the east-west alley in Block 12, Gantenbein's Addition and Block 12G, Riverside Addition; 2 yn 0.
