A RESOLUTION establishing the position of and appointing the
Project Engineer on the Old Pasco-Kennewick Bridge Removal
Project.
WHEREAS, both the City of Kennewick and City of Pasco
are desirous to proceed with the removal of the Old Pasco-
Kennewick Inter-City Bridge in the most expeditious fashion; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that a professional engineer
be designated as Project Engineer on the project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Kennewick assumed responsibilities
for local agency work on construction engineering and project
administration on the construction of the new cable-stayed Inter-
City Bridge; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Roy Cross assumed that responsibility as
Project Engineer on the construction of the Inter-City Bridge;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE POSITION OF PROJECT ENGINEER
FOR THE REMOVAL OF THE OLD PASCO-KENNEWICK INTER-CITY
BRIDGE BE ESTABLISHED, AND
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT MR. ROY CROSS BE
DESIGNATED AS THE INDIVIDUAL TO FILL THE DESIGNATED
POSITION OF PROJECT ENGINEER, AND
STILL FURTHER THAT MR. ROY CROSS IS HEREBY DELEGATED
SUCH AUTHORITY AND RESPONSIBILITY AS IS REQUIRED TO
PROPERLY CONDUCT BUSINESS OF PROJECT ENGINEER ON THE
PROJECT.
