RESOLUTION NO. 1402
A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor of the City of
Pasco to enter into an Agreement with
the County of Franklin.
WHEREAS, the City of Pasco Local Improvement District
(L.I.D.) No. 106 has been completed and the final assessments
established under the City of Pasco Ordinance No. 2214; and
WHEREAS, the County of Franklin owns certain real
property benefiting and assessed under L.I.D. No. 106; and
WHEREAS, the County of Franklin desires to transfer
ownership of a portion of the same certain property to the
City of Pasco if the City of Pasco assumes responsibility for
payment of the L.I.D. No. 106 final assessments against all of
the certain real property presently owned by the County in the
vicinity of Seventh (7th) Avenue and C Street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco finds
the acquisition of said certain real property under the
proposed terms and conditions to be a fair and reasonable
exchange and that the acquisition of said property is in the
interest of the particular neighborhood as well as the
Pasco community;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Pasco:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Pasco
hereby approves and authorizes the Mayor of the City of Pasco
to sign the Agreement attached hereto and identified as
Exhibit 1.

1 The County of Franklin expressly agrees to and is responsible for the transfer,
to the City of Pasco, of the following described real estate by

C) Lots 5-8 (inclusive), Block 5, Gantenbein's Addition,

E) Lots 1-3 (inclusive), Block 12, Gantenbein's Addition,
2 The City of Pasco expressly agrees to assume sole responsibility for payment
of Local Improvement District No 106 final assessments confirmed under
City of Pasco Ordinance #2214 for the following described real estate
A) Lots 1-4 (inclusive), Block 5, College Addition,
B) Lot 9-14 (inclusive), Block 5G, Riverside Addition,
C) Lots 5-8 (inclusive), Block 5,—Gahtenbeinls Addition,
D) Lots 12-16 (inclusive), Block 12G, Riverside Addition,
E) Lots 1-6 (inclusive), Block 12, Gantenbein's Addition,
3 The City of Pasco expressly agrees that all of the real property identified in
Section 1 above, or the proceeds from all or any part of said property, shall
be for public park purposes in accordance with applicable City of Pasco ordinances
