RESOLUTION NO. 1393
A RESOLUTION relating to construction of curb, gutter, and sidewalk
on Sylvester Street from 20th Avenue west to Road 28
in the City of Pasco and setting a time and a place for
a hearing on the assessment roll therefor and directing
the City Clerk to give notice of said hearing.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco passed and
confirmed Resolution No. 1256 requiring property owners on both sides
of Sylvester Street from 20th Avenue west to Road 28 in the City of
Pasco to construct sidewalk, curb, and gutter each at his own expense
and further requiring that the city perform such sidewalk Improvements
in the event the property owner did not complete the required construction
by August 31, 1979, and further requiring that the cost of said
construction performed by the city to be assessed against the abutting
property owners;
WHEREAS, the construction has been completed by the city for
those property owners that did not themselves complete the required
construction;
WHEREAS, the city engineer has prepared and filed with the City
Clerk and the City Council an assessment roll describing the properties
assessed, the name of the owner, if known, or otherwise stating that
the owner is unknown, and setting forth the amount of the assessment
as determined by him based on benefits to the property; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That a public hearing on said assessment roll shall be held at
8:00 p.m., (P.S.T.) on the 5th day of January, 1981, in the Council
Chambers at City Hall in the City of Pasco, Washington, at 412 West
Clark Street.
Be it further RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to
give notice of such hearing as required by R.C.W. 35.68.050.
