RESOLUTION NO 1370
A RESOLUTION abandoning a sewer line within the utility easement on the
vacated alley and street between Front Street and Main Street
from Holden Street to the vacated Marvin Street
WHEREAS, the city has previously abandoned the alleyway and street
within the parcel in question, and
WHEREAS, easements for public utilities were maintained within the
vacated right-of-way, and
WHEREAS, the public sewer utility remaining within the easement is
a City of Pasco sewer line serving only the parcel in question, and
WHEREAS, existing building construction has taken place upon the
easement for the sewer line, and
WHEREAS, no further extension or services to other property would
be provided by the single sewer line, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO
That the City Council does hereby abandon the sewer line within the
subject easement and does also abandon that portion of the easement for public
utilities within the building lines of the building existing on the property
as of August 31, 1980, and does hereby relinquish control of that sewer line
to the property owner of the parcel subject to the condition that no unauthorized
sewer services will be provided from the sewer line, and no separate parcel shall
served from the sewer line without prior written approval of the City of Pasco
