HomeMy WebLinkAbout1338 ResolutionNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING RESOLUTION NO 1338 A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington, declaring its intention to order the improvement of the west half of the northwest quarter of Section 32, T9N, R30 EWM, and east half of the northeast quarter of Section 31 T9N, R30 EWM, lying south of "A" Street, north of Ainsworth Avenue, east of 10th Avenue, and west of 4th Avenue, whithin the City of Pasco, Washington, to city standards by grading, constructing and installing storm damns, water mains, sewer stubs, curbs, gutters, necessary sidewalks, base rock, leveling course, asphalt concrete surfacing, and all incidental work and to create a Local Improvement District to assess that portion of the cost and expense associated with residential street improvement standards against the property benefited thereby, and notifying all persons who may desire to object to said improvements to appear and present their objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held April 16, 1980. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington, to order street construction consisting of storm drains, water mains, sewer stubs, curbs, gutters, necessary sidewalk, base rock, leveling course, asphalt concrete surfacing, and all incidental work on the following streets in the City of Pasco, Washington, to-wit "B" Street from 10th Avenue to 4th Avenue, "C" Street from 8th Avenue to 4th Lane, 9th Avenue from "A" Street to Ainsworth, 8th Avenue from "A" Street to Ainsworth, 7th Avenue from "A" Street to Ainsworth, 7th Lane from "A" Street to Ainsworth, 6th Avenue from "A" Street to Ainsworth, 5th Avenue from "A" Street to Ainsworth, 4th Lane from "A" Street to 4th Avenue BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the total cost of such improvement to residential street standards shall be borne by and assessed against the properties specially benefited by such improvement to be included in the Local Improvement District to be established embracing as near as may be all of the property specially benefited by such improvement. Chet Bailie, Mayor AT i.ST yn We ls, City Clerk APP,ROVED AS TO FORM PALAA-4= ()iq Dennis De Fell City Attorney BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington, to create a Local Improvement District to include for the purpose of assessing properties within the boundaries described as follows That portion of the west half of the NW 1/4 Sec 32, T9N, R30, EWM, and that portion of the east half of the NE 1/4, Sec 31, T9N, R30 EWM Beginning with the section corner 29, 30, 31, 32, which is on the centerline of "A" Street and is the True Point of Beginning, thence westerly along said centerline to the intersection of 10th Avenue, thence southerly along the 10th Avenue centerline to the intersection of Ainsworth Avenue, thence easterly along the centerline of Ainsworth Avenue to the intersection of Fourth Avenue, thence northerly along the centerline of Fourth Avenue to the intersection of "A" Street, thence vesterly along the centerline of "A" Street to the True Point of Beginning EXCEPT the following parcels Riverside Addition, Block 3, Lots 1-6, 14-20, Gantenbein's Addition, Block 11, Lot 9, Gantenbein's Addition, Block 16, Lot 13, Gray's Addition, Block 5, Lots 5-16, Gray's Addition, Block 4, Lots 1-11, Riverside Addition, Block 13, Lots 11-17, College Addition, Block 3, Lots 15-24. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all persons who may desire to object to the improvements herein mentioned are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Council, to be held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Pasco, Washington, at 8 00 P M , on April 16, 1980, which time and place are hereby fixed for hearing matters relating to said proposed improvements and all objections thereto and for determining the method of payment of said improvements BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that James S. Ajax, City Engineer, is hereby directed to submit to the City Council on or prior to April 00, 1980, all data and information required by law to be submitted day of 3rd PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this March , 1980 PROPOSED RIGHT-OF-WAY VACATIONS "C" St from 9th Ave to 8th Ave "D" St from 5th Ave to 4th Ave East/West alley in Block 9 of Gantenbein's Addition
