WHEREAS, the extension of Commercial Avenue southeasterly from the
Columbia East Subdivision No 3 area serves a public circulation function,
and
WHEREAS, the property owners in the area have offered to quit claim a
portion of their property to the City of Pasco for public right-of-way purposes
to facilitate Commercial Avenue, and
WHEREAS, facilitating the public's right-of-way along Commercial Avenue
is in the public interest, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO
Section 1 That these quit claims be accepted by the city for public
right-of-way purposes
