HomeMy WebLinkAbout3343 OrdinanceCITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO 3 1--i AN ORDINANCE relating to Utility Local Improvement District No 133, amending Ordinance No 3246 by enlarging the boundaries of that district and providing for and ordering additional improvements WHEREAS, the City of Council of the City of Pasco, Washington (the "City"), by Ordinance No 3246, passed August 18, 1997, oidered the improvement to an alea of the City between Court Street and Pearl Street from Road 36 to Road 44 by the construction of sewer lines, sewer stubs, a street overlay and all other work necessary for or incidental to the provision of sewei service to that area, and cleated Utility Local Improvement Distiict No 133 ("ULID No 133"), and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the boundaries of ULID No 133 should be enlarged and additional improvements should be provided, and pursuant to Resolution No 2423, aftei due notice conducted a hearing on such enlargement and additional impiovements on Maich 1, 1999, at 7 00 p m local time, and all objections to the proposed additional impiovements and the enlargement of the boundaries of the District were duly considered and overruled by the City Council and all pei sons appealing at such healing and wishing to be heald and were heard, and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it to be in the best interests of the City that the additional improvements be canied out and that ULID No 133 should be enlarged in connection therewith, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN as follows Section 1 Section 5 of Ordinance No 3246 is amended to read as follows , 50078461 01 "Section 5 To carry out the Improvements there is created and established Utility Local Improvement District No 133 of the City of Pasco, Washington (the "Distnct"), the boundaries or territorial extent of which Distnct are more particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto as such Improvements are more particularly described on Exhibit B attached hereto" Section 2 Within 15 days of the passage of this ordinance there shall be filed with the City Clerk, the title of the improvement and district number, a copy of the diagram or print showing the new boundaries of the District and the preliminary assessment roll or abstract of such roll showing thereon the lots, tracts and parcels of land that will be specially benefited thereby and the estimated cost and expense of such improvement to be borne by each lot, tract or parcel of land The City Clerk immediately shall post the proposed assessment roll upon his index of utility local improvement assessments against the properties affected by the utility local improvement PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor of Pasco,
