ORDINANCE NO. 33_3 25
AN ORDINANCE concerning wages and salaries for certain non-represented
personnel for calendar year 1999
WHEREAS, the City Council approved Ordinance Nos 3336 and 3337 at its
December 21, 1998 meeting, making certain revisions in the wage and salary plans for
non-represented positions, and
WHEREAS, both Ordinance Nos 3336 and 3337 inadvertently omitted a provision
to assure maintenance of wages or salaries for certain positions in excess of the revised
maximums established under the respective Ordinances, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 Any non-represented employee whose actual wage or salary on
December 31, 1998, exceeds the maximum for the respective grade assigned herein shall
continue to receive said actual wage or salary during calendar year 1999
Section 2 This Ordinance shall be retroactive to January 1, 1999
This Ordinance shall take effect five (5) days after passage and publication
according to law
