AN ORDINANCE of the City of Pasco, Washington
creating the Bi-Centennial Fund creating a new Chapter
3.128 entitled "Bi-Centennial Fund"
WHEREAS, the Pasco Centennial Corporation organized m commemoration of the
Pasco Centennial Celebration of 1984, has remaining funds from such celebrations which it
wishes to give to the City of Pasco to be utilized and mvested for the purpose of funding the
Bi-Centenmal Celebration of the City of Pasco in 2084, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish a fund specifically created for the purposes
of holding, collecting and investing contnbutions to fund the celebration of the Bi-
Centennial of the City of Pasco in the year 2084, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That a new Chapter 3 128 entitled "Bi-Centenmal Fund", shall be and
hereby is adopted and shall read as follows
3.128.010 Bi -Centennial Fund Created There is hereby created a special fund to
be known as the "Bi-Centemna1 Fund" for the purpose of accounting funds received,
invested, disbursed, and expended exclusively for the purpose of funding the
celebration of the Bi-Centennial of the City of Pasco m the year 2084
3.128.020 Use. The funds shall be used for the proper receiptmg, investment,
disbursement and expenditure of funds in connection with the City of Pasco Bi-
Centennial Celebration m the year 2084
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take full force and effect five (5) days after its
approval, passage and publications as required by law
