HomeMy WebLinkAbout3177 Ordinancear es D Kilbury Mayor ATTEST Cathenne D Seaman Deputy City Clerk ORDINANCE NO.3M AN ORDINANCE relating to land use and zoning amending Title 22 by amending Section 22 68 085 dealing with the siting of factory assembled homes WHEREAS, cities have the responsibility to regulate and control the physical development within their borders and insure the public health, safety and welfare are maintained, and, WHEREAS, the City of Pasco has zoning regulations that encourage orderly growth and development of the City, and, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Planning Commission's recommendations, and has determined that to further the purpose of the comprehensive planning and to maintain and protect the welfare of the community, it is necessary to amend PMC Title 22, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That PMC Section 22 68 085 (a) is hereby amended to read as follows 22 68 085 (a) A lot or parcel upon which a factory assembled home is to be placed shall be part of a subdivision that was platted not less than thirty five years ago, except factory assembled homes may be permitted on other properties platted or unplatted by special permit Prior to rendering a recommendation the Planning Commission shall make and enter findings based on the following 1) The provisions of PMC Section 22 68 085 (b)-(j) 2) The provisions of PMC Section 22 80 060 Section 2.
