ORDINANCE NO 3)1-i 5---
AN ORDINANCE assigning zoning to certain real property within the
City of Pasco
WHEREAS, on January 18, 1996, the Planning Commission of
the City of Pasco conducted a public hearing to develop a
recommendation for the assignment of zoning to certain properties,
in the event those properties were incorporated within the City, and
WHEREAS, on February 20, 1996, Ordinance No 319q,
effectively annexed certain real property to the City of Pasco, NOW,
THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 That the following described area, situated in
Franklin County, Washington to-wit
Beginning at a point on the south right-of-way line of Court Street
said point being the NW corner of Lot 4, Block 1 Arbee's Addition
located in Section 26, T 9 N, R 29 E, W M , Thence westerly along the
south right-of-way line of Court Street to the west right-of-way line
of Road 44, Thence southerly along the west right-of-way line of
Road 44 to the south right-of-way line of Sylvester Street, Thence
easterly along the south right-of-way line of Sylvester Street to the
NW corner of Lot 20 Thompson Subdivision located in Section 25, T 9
N, R 29 E, WM, Thence northerly along the projection of the west line
of Lot 20 of Thompson Subdivision to north line of the SW 1/4 of
said section 25, Thence westerly along the line of the SW 1/4 of said
section 25 to the intersection with the projection of the west line of
the First Addition to Riviera Trailer Village, Thence northerly along
said projected west line of the First Addition to Riviera Trailer
Village and northerly along the west line of said Addition to the
south right-of-way line of Henry Street, Thence westerly along the
south right-of-way line of Henry Street to its intersection with the
east right-of-way line of Road 37, Thence southerly along the east
right-of-way line of Road 37, to the intersection of the easterly
projection of the south lot line of Lot 18, Block 8 of the Corrected Plat
of Riverview Terrace, Thence westerly along said easterly projection
to the southeast corner of Lot 18, Block 8 of the Corrected Plat of
Riview Terrace, Thence westerly along the south lines of Lots 18,
17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11 and 10, Block 8 of the Corrected Plat of
Riverview Terrace to the east right-of-way line of Road 40, Thence
westerly along the projection of the south line of said Lot 10 of the
Corrected Plat of Riverview Terrace to the west right-of-way line of
Road 40, Thence northerly along the west right-of-way line of Road
40 to the south right-of-way line of Henry Street, Thence westerly
along the south right-of-way line of Henry Street to its intersection
with the east line of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of
Section 26, T 9 N, R 29 E WM Thence northerly along the east line of
the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 and the east line of the SW
1/4 of the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 and the eastline of the the NW 1/4
of the NW 1/4 of the NE1/4 of said section 26 to the intersection
with the easterly projection of the south line of the Plat of Arbee's
Addition, Thence west along the said projection of the south line of
Arbee's Addition to the SE corner thereof, Thence continuing west
along the south line of Arbee's Addition to the SW corner of Lot 3 of
said addition, Thence north along the west line of Lots 3 and 4
Arbee's Addition to the point of beginning EXCEPT the northern 400
feet of the western 409 feet of the Northeast quarter of Section 26,
Township 9 North, Range 29 East W M
as depicted in the map attached hereto and labeled Exhibit 1 be and
the same is hereby assigned the RS -12 (Suburban Residential)
district classification
Section 2 That the following described area, situated in
Franklin County, Washington to-wit ^
The northern 400 feet of the western 409 feet of the Northeast
quarter of Section 26, Township 9 North, Range 29 East W M
as depicted in the map attached hereto and labeled Exhibit 1 be and
the same is hereby assigned the C-1 (Retail Business) district
classification
Section 3 That any and all zoning maps be and same are
hereby amended to conform to the aforesaid assignment of zoning
Section 4 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after
its passage and publication as required by law
