HomeMy WebLinkAbout3138 OrdinanceI • SSED ,vIdA 4111/ Ld day of Charles D Kilbury, M or Catherine Seaman, Deputy City Clerk Attachment "G" ORDINANCE NO. 1 37f AN ORDINANCE dealing with energy codes amending Chapter 16 18 of the Pasco Municipal Code THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS Section 1 Section 16 18 020 of the Pasco Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows 16 18 020 PERMIT FEES Every applicant for a permit to do work regulated by this code shall pay for each permit, at the time of application, a fee as is set forth in Section 304 107 of the 1991 1994 Uniform Building Code as adopted by the Pasco Municipal Code in Section 16 04 010 Section 2 Section 16 18 030 of the Pasco Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows 16 18 030 BOARD OF APPEALS In order to determine the suitability of alternative materials and methods of construction and/or installation and provide for reasonable interpretation of the provisions of the Energy Code, the Board of Appeals, created pursuant to Section 2 04 105 of the 1991 1994 Uniform Building Code as amended by Section 16 04 020 of the Pasco Municipal Code, shall hear appeals and make determinations arising out of or in connection with the decisions of the building official When it is claimed that the provisions of this code do not apply or that the true intent or meaning of this code has been misconstrued or wrongly interpreted, the applicant may, within 30 days of the decision, appeal to the Board of Appeals Section 3 This Ordinance shall take effect five (5) days after passage and summary publication 1996 Leland Kerr, Interim City Attorney CITY OF PASCO SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO 3j. 5X ORDINANCE NO 31 , is an ordinance relating to energy codes and amending Chapter 16 18 of the Pasco Municipal Code Sections 1 and 2 Amend section numbers to coincide with changes in the 1994 Uniform Building Code Section 3 Requires the ordinance or this summary herein to be published before the ordinance is in effect The full text of Ordinance No T5g is available free of charge to any person who requests it from the City Clerk of the City of Pasco (509) 545-3402, P 0 Box 293, Pasco, Washington 99301-0293 Catherine D Seaman, Deputy City Clerk Ilikikae.
