HomeMy WebLinkAbout3082 OrdinanceORDINANCE NO. 3 o AN ORDINANCE concerning the carrying out of a system or plan for additions and betterments to and extensions of the water works utility of the City, the modification of effluent flow characteristics as identified in the facility plan, amending the facility plan, and amending Ordinance No 3040 WHEREAS, on August 15, 1994 the City Council approved Ordinance No 3040, an Ordinance relating to the water works utility of the City, specifying, adopting and ordering the carrying out of a system or plan for additions and betterments to the extensions of the water works utility of the City, authorizing the issuance of water and sewer revenue bonds in the amount of up to eight million five hundred twenty thousand dollars ($8,520,000 00) to obtain a part of the funds with which to pay the costs of carrying out a portion of that system or plan, authorizing the issuance of a three million dollar ($3,000,000 00) par value water and sewer revenue bond anticipation note pending the issuance of the bond, fixing the date, interest rates, form, maturity, terms, covenants and uses of the proceeds of those bonds, creating a special note redemption fund and a construction fund, and providing for the sale and delivery of the note to West One Bank, Washington, of Seattle, Washington, and WHEREAS, in order to settle an existing dispute with the Washington State Department of Ecology over the conditions required in a National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for the City and its Wastewater Treatment Facilities, the City amended said Ordinance and plan on December 19, 1994, and WHEREAS, further improvements to the plan have been identified and to facilitate grant funding it is necessary to make further amendment to the plan, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS §1.
