AN ORDINANCE concerning wages for certain personnel (non-
represented) for the calendar year 1994
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
§1. The wage scale for those positions specified in the attached Exhibit
"I" and not represented by a certified bargaining unit, shall be as set forth in
Exhibit "I" attached hereto, which Exhibit is incorporated by reference as if
fully set forth herein The City Manager shall designate the appropriate
hourly wage step in Exhibit "I" for each employee covered by this Ordinance,
considering their time in the position for which they are employed, their
current hourly wage, and the evaluation of their performance, provided,
however, where the wage of an incumbent in any such position at the
conclusion of 1993 is increased by 3 25% and does exceed the maximum wage
for the position as set forth in Exhibit "I", such employee shall continue to be
compensated at his/her ending 1993 wage increased by a 3 25% cost of living
adjustment
§2. The step increases set forth in Exhibit "I" are dependent upon a
satisfactory performance evaluation If the performance evaluation of an
employee demonstrates superior performance and upon recommendation of
the Department Head, the City Manager has the discretion to advance an
employee an additional pay step over that step otherwise obtainable by a
satisfactory performance evaluation
§3. The wage scale set forth in Exhibit "I" shall be effective January 1,
1994 and remain in effect until this Ordinance is amended or superseded by
subsequent Ordinance
§4. This Ordinance supersedes any conflicting prior Ordinance or
conflicting provision of a prior Ordinance
§5. This Ordinance shall take effect five (5) days after passage and
publication

AN ORDINANCE concerning
employee benefits
WHEREAS The City Council
has determined in appropri-
ate to raise the basic group
term life insurance benefit for
non-management non-rep-
resented employees from
two thousand five hundred
dollars ($2 500 00) to twelve
thousand dollars
($12 000 00) now therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PASCO
WASHINGTON DOES OR-
DAIN AS FOLLOWS
§1 Section 242 600(b) of the
Pasco Municipal Code is
hereby amended to read as
follows
(b) In addition to salaries all
regular non-represented full
time and regular non-repre
sented part-time employees
shall be entitled to the insur
anos benefits listed below
(1) Medical Insurance provid
ed regular part-time employ
ees pay own premium
(2) Dental Insurance provid
ed regular part-time employ
ees pay own premium

Life Insurance
12 000 00 except that De
partment Heads shall receive
the policy value of $50 000 00
and Supervisors a policy val-
ue of $30 000 00 All Life poli-
cies shall be group term poli-
cies of insurance
(4) State lndustnal Insurance
Medical Aid and Pension as
provided for in the Revised
Code of Washington The
cost of medical aid and pen-
sion are to be shared equally
by the City (the employer)
and the employee or as oth-
erwise required by State or
Federal Law
Except as otherwise provided
herein or as provided in union
agreement all benefits shall
be provided by an insurance
camer selected by the City or
provided by the City through a
program or programs of self
insurance all premiums for
said benefits shall be paid by
the City
§2 This Ordinance shall take
effect five (5) days after pas
sage and publication
