HomeMy WebLinkAbout2948 Ordinance( NI 1 ORDINANCE NO.a Ci l/F AN ORDINANCE relating to comprehensive land use planning and amending the Community Development Policy Plan. WHE AS, the Pasco City Council did on March 17, 1980, adopt by Ord ance No. 2143 a Community Development Policy Plan for the city; and, WHEREAS, e Community Development Policy Plan is used to assist in legislat ve and administrative decision making as it relates to physical development of the city; and, WHEREAS, the Community Development Policy Plan was intended to be a flexi e guide for development and should be periodically reviewed an , amended depending on conditions in the community; and, WHEREAS, the Plan ing Commission conducted a public hearing on June 17, 1993 and following public discussion, unanimously recommended that the land use map portion of the Community Development Policy an be amended; and, WHEREAS, the responsi le official for the State Environmental Policy Act has det mined that a recommended policy plan amendment will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the quality of the envir nment; and, WHEREAS, the City Cou il finds the Planning Commission's recommendation will a d the city in anticipating orderly and coordinated developmen within the city; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE City ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: PASCO, WASHINGTON DO Section 1.0rdinance No. 2143 h reby is amended to show changes in the land use map of the Community Development Policy Plan as indicated in Exhibit 11 1" attached ereto. Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage and publication as equired by law.
