AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 2939 to correct a defect in
wording.
WHEREAS, on June 7, 1993, the City Council passed and
approved Ordinance No. 2939 vacating a certain unnamed
right-of-way; and,
WHEREAS, subsequent to the passage of Ordinance No. 2939
it was discovered that Section 1 of said ordinance contained an
omission in the description of the right-of-way to be vacated.
WHEREAS, the defect in Section 1 was the result of
unintended error and, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 2939 passed on June 7, 1993 is
hereby amended to state the true intention of the Pasco City
Council by including the omitted language in Section 1 to read as
follows:
"That the unnamed right-of-way described as the
north thirty feet of the east half of the
southeast quarter of the northwest quarter of the
northwest quarter of the southeast quarter of
Section 25 Township 9 North Range 29 East W.M., as
depicted in Exhibit "1" be vacated subject to the
easement retained in Section 2 hereof."
Section 2. In all other respects Ordinance No. 2939
shall remain the same.
