HomeMy WebLinkAbout2940 Ordinance - RecordedvoL0321 P60730 c38.9Z3 ORDINANCE NO. .D,CDV-i0 AN ORDINANCE vacating certain portions of the George Street and Alvina Street right-of-way along with portions of the Owens Avenue right-of-way. WHEREAS, in response to a petition to abut the street rights-of-way herein below described, the City Council initiated the same by resolution, and; WHEREAS, all steps and procedures required by law to vacate said rights-of-way have been duly taken and performed, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The north 10' of Alvina Street abutting Lots 1 and 28, Block 5, A. M. Wehe's First Addition and the west 10' of Owen Avenue between the northern right-of-way line of George Street and the northern right-of-way line of Alvina Street and George Street right-of-way from the east right-of-way line of Beech Avenue to the west right-of-way line of Owen Avenue EXCEPT the projection of the north/south alleys in Blocks 4 and 5, A. M. Wehe's First Addition, and the north 10' of Alvina Street abutting Lots 1 and 28, Block 8, A. M. Wehe's First Addition and the east 10' of Owen Avenue between the northern right-of-way line of George Street and the northern right-of-way line of Alvina Street and George Street right-of-way from the east right-of-way line of Owen Avenue to the west right-of-way line of Douglas Avenue EXCEPT the projection of the north/south alleys in Blocks 7 and 8, A. M. Wehe's First Addition. Section 2. That the city shall retain an easement and the right to exercise or grant easements with respect to the north ten feet of Alvina Street abutting Lots 1 through 28, Block 5, and Lots 1 through 28, Block 8, and the west ten feet of Owen Avenue between the northern right-of-way line of George Street and the northern right-of-way line of Alvina Street along with the north ten feet of George Street abutting Lots 1-28, Block 4, and Lots 1-24, Block 9, all located in the A. M. Wehe's First Addition. SeciAon 3. Coun , cil has determined that the recommendations of the City Manager for changes in the program for Mon etary awards for city em- ployees is appropriate Now Therefore THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO WASHINGTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS 1 Section 2 43 010 of the Pasco Municipal Code IS hereby amended by the ad- dition of the new category of employee of the year which new category shall read as follows E EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR (1) The city manager shall establish a procedure for the selection of an em- ployee of the year for both the uniformed police offi- cers and the uniformed fire fighters In addition the city manager shall establish a process for the selection of employee(s) of the year for the non management employees outside of the uniformed police and fire services 2 Section 2 43 020 of the Pasco Municipal Code is hereby amended by the ad ditional underlined Ian guage shown below to gether with the deletions shown by interlineation as follows 2 43 020 ADMINISTRA TION Except for the Sug gestion Awards the total annual expenditure for the provision of the awards provided for herein and the cost of a dinner banquet for the presentation of such awards shall not exceed the combined total of ten thousand dollars The city manager shall is sue administrative rules/ procedures for the admin istration of this awards program and further defin ing the eligibility and cn term
