2889 Ordinance
ORDINANCE NO.a=7 AN ORDINANCE relating to comprehensive land use planning and amending the Community Development Policy Plan. WHEREAS, the Pasco City Council did on MaY 18, 1992, adopt by Ordinance No. 2871, a amendment to the Community Development Policy Plan for the city; and, WHEREAS, the Community Development Policy Plan is used to assist in legislative and administrative decision making as it relates to physical development of the city; and, WHEREAS, the Community Development Policy Plan was intended to be a flexible guide for development and should be periodically reviewed and amended depending on conditions in the community; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on July 16, 1992 and following discussion, unanimously recommended that the land use map portion of the Community Development Policy Plan be amended; and, WHEREAS, the responsible official for the State Environmental Policy Act has determined that the recommended policy plan amendments will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the quality of the environment; and, WHEREAS, the City Council finds the Planning Commission's recommendation will aid the city in anticipating orderly and coordinated development within the city; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Ordinance No. 2871 hereby is amended to show changes in the land use map of the Community Development Policy Plan as indicated in Exhibit 1 attached hereto. Section 2.
