AN ORDINANCE amending Chapter 18 04 of the Pasco Municipal Code, and concerning the storage and possession of common fireworks WHEREAS, when the Pasco City Council passed Ordinance 2782 prohibiting the possession, storage, and sale of fireworks in the City of Pasco it was not intended to prohibit the storage for wholesale distribution outside the City of common fireworks and Chapter 18 04 PMC needs to be amended to clearly reflect such intention, NOW THEREFORE, THECITYCOUNCILOFTHECITY0FPASCO,WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS Section 1 Chapter 18 04 of the Pasco Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition of new section 18 04 125 which section shall read as follows 18 04 125 POSSESSION OF COMMON FIREWORKS FOR WHOLESALE DISTRIBUTION PERMITTED Any person having the necessary licenses from the State of Washington may possess and store common fireworks in the City of Pasco at a location properly zoned therefore, for the purpose of the distribution of such fireworks for retail sale outside the City Limits "Common fireworks" is defined in Ch 70 77 RCW, as amended from time to time Section 2 This Ordinance shall take effect five (5) days after passage and publication 3 PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayorthis -28413 a of . 991 dra44W15;10011..- A-Y 0 R LEGAL NO 002211 99302-2608 BeraId P0 BOX 2608 PASCO, WASHINGTON (509) 582-1500 DATE (1 607 .
