ORDINANCE No. 2770
AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 2718 to correct a defect in
in wording.
WHEREAS, on March 6, 1989, the City Council passed and
approved Ordinance No. 2718 annexing certain real property into
the City of Pasco; and,
WHEREAS, subsequent to the passage of Ordinance No. 2718,
it was discovered that Section 1 of said ordinance contained a
sentence that was not intended to be part of the ordinance; and,
WHEREAS, the defect in Section 1 is the result of
unintended error and included by inadvertence, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 2718 passed on March 6, 1989
is hereby amended to state the true intention of the Pasco City
Council by removing the following from the legal description
contained in Section 1 thereof: "A portion of land located in
Section 32, Township 9 N., Range 30 E.W.M., described as
follows:"
Section 2. In all other respects Ordinance No. 2718
shall remain the same.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect five days
after passage and publication.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this
5 March 1990.

SUBSTITUTION LEGAL FOR SECTION 1
That part of Sections 23 and 24, Township 9, Range 29 E.W.M.,
and the records of Franklin County, Washington, described as
follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the west R/W
line of Road 36 and the south R/W line of Ruby Street, said
point being the true point of beginning;
Thence northerly along the west R/W line of Road 36 to
its intersection with the westerly projection of the north
line of the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of
the southwest quarter of Section 24:
Thence easterly along said projection of the north
line of the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of
the southwest quarter of Section 24 to the east R/W line of
Road 36;
Thence northerly along the east R/W line of Road 36 to
the point of intersection with the south R/W line of Pearl
Street;
Thence westerly along the south R/W line of Pearl Street
to the point of intersection with the east R/W line of Road
40;
Thence southerly along the east R/W line of Road 40 to
the point of intersection with the easterly projection of
the north R/W line of Ruby Street;
Thence westerly along the easterly projection of the
north R/W line of said Ruby Street to the southeast corner
of Lot 4 Block 1 of Mottners Addition;
Thence westerly along the south line of Lots 4, 5, and 6,
of Block 1 of Mottners Addition to the southwest corner of
said Lot 6;
Thence north along the west line of said Lot 6 to its
intersection with the south line of Lot 4 Short Plat 77-1;
Thence west along the south line of said Lot 4 Short Plat
77-1 to its intersection with the south line of Lot 2 Short
Plat 84-4;
Thence west along the south line of Lot 2 and Lot 1 Short
Plat 84-4 to the southwest corner of said Lot 1, also being
the east R/W line of Road 42;
Thence west 30 feet to the east R/W line of Road 42 ;
thence south along said R/W line of Road 42 to its
intersection with the easterly projection of the south line
of Lot 8 Block 1 of Cline Addition;
Thence westerly along the projection of the south line of
Lot 8 Block 1 Cline Addition to the southeast corner of Lot
8 THEREOF;
Thence west along the south line of Lots 8, 7, 6, and 5
to the southwest corner of Lot 5, Block 1 of said Cline
Addition;
Thence westerly along the westerly projection of the
south line of Lot 5, Block 1 of Cline Addition to the point
of intersection with the west R/W line of Road 44;
thence northerly along the west R/W line of Road 44 to
the northeast corner of Lot 1 of Short Plat 81-10;

Plat 81-10 to the northwest corner of said Lot 1;
Thence southerly along the west line of Lots 1, 2 and 3
of Short Plat 81-10 to the southwest corner of said Lot 3,
said corner also being a point on the north R/W line of
Court Street;
Thence southerly along the west line extended of said Lot
3 to the south R/W line of Court Street;
Thence easterly along the south R/W line of Court Street
to the point of intersection with the east R/W line of Road
40;
Thence northerly along the northerly projection of the
East R/W line of Road 40 to the point of intersection with
the north R/W line of Court Street;
Thence easterly along the north R/W line of Court Street
to the southeast corner of Lot 1 of Court Vista Addition;
Thence northerly along the east line of Lot 1 of Court
Vista Addition to the northeast corner of said Lot 1, said
corner also being a point on the south R/W line of Ruby
Street;
Thence easterly along the south R/W line of Ruby Street
to the point of intersection with the west R/W line of Road
36, said point being the true point of beginning.
