ORDINANCE NO. 2764
AN ORDINANCE concerning the advance travel expense
revolving fund; and amending Chapter 3.92 of the Pasco
Municipal Code.
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an amount not to
exceed $3,000 at any one time to be kept in the advance travel
expense revolving fund, created by Ordinance No. 1412, Section 1,
1970; and
WHEREAS, circumstances have changed since the amount
allowed to be kept in the fund was last changed by the City
Council to $3,000 in 1982, and the City Council has determined
that a fund authorization of $5,000 is appropriate, NOW,
THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 3.92.040 of the Pasco Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read as follows (deletions by interlineation
and new language shown by underlying):
3.92.040 FUND ACCOUNT. The city council
authorizes an amount not to exceed three five thousand
dollars at any one time to be kept in the fund. Moneys
shall be deposited in a separate checking account in a
local bank in the name of the city and entitled "Advance
Travel Expense Fund - Finance Director, Custodian."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect five (5)
days after passage and publication.
