AN ORDINANCE vacating certain portions of "D" Street Melrose FONAND-: Di-AN v4nue, Ash Avenue and adjoining alleys within the
City of Pasco.
WHEREAS, a petition signed by more than two-thirds (2/3)
of the owners of property abutting the street and alley
rights-of-way herein below described has been submitted to the
City Council of the City of Pasco; and
WHEREAS, all steps and procedures required by law to
vacate said rights-of-way have been duly taken and performed;
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following rights-of-way be in the
same are hereby vacated and the property so vacated shall vest in
the rightful owners thereof and shall attach to the lots or
grounds bordering thereon, all in the manner provided by law:
A. That portion of unvacated East "D" Street lying
easterly of the centerline of the north/south alley
in Block 11, Steffin's Amended Addition, and the
westerly right-of-way line of Oregon Avenue.
B. That portion of unvacated East "D" Street lying
easterly of the easterly right-of-way line of
Oregon Avenue and westerly of the southerly
right-of-way line of the Burlington Northern
Railroad.
C. That portion of Melrose Avenue lying northerly
of the extended south line of Lot 14, Block 16, W.
H. Steffin's Second Addition and the south line of
East "D" Street.
D. That portion of unvacated South Ash Avenue lying
northerly of the south line projected of Lot 8,
Block 7, Gill and Witson's Addition and the
southerly right-of-way line of the Burlington
Northern Railroad.
E. The unvacated portion of the north/south alley
lying northerly of the projected south line of Lot
19, Block 7, Gill and Witson's Addition and the
southerly right-of-way line of the Burlington
Northern Railroad.
F. The unvacated portion of the east/west alley of
Block 7, Gill and Witson's Addition between the
east right-of-way line of South Ash Avenue and the
southerly right-of-way line of the Burlington
Northern Railroad.
