2664 ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE vacating certain portions of Eighth Avenue and
West Bonneville Street, Shoshone Street, and
certain alleys in Blocks 13 and 14, Pettit's
Addition, all within the City of Pasco.
WHEREAS, a petition signed by more than two-thirds (2/3)
of the owners of property abutting the street and alley
rights-of-way herein below described has been submitted to the
City Council of the City of Pasco; and
WHEREAS, all steps and procedures required by law to
vacate said rights-of-way have been duly taken and performed;
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following rights-of-way be in the
same are hereby vacated and the property so vacated shall vest in
the rightful owners thereof and shall attach to the lots or
grounds bordering thereon, all in the manner provided by law:
A. The west ten feet of Eighth Avenue, between the
northerly line of Bonneville Street and the south line
of Shoshone Street;
B. The 80 foot easement over vacated Ninth Avenue,
from the north line of Bonneville Street to the south
line of Shoshone Street; except that a twenty (20) foot
easement lying ten (10) on either side of the following
line, shall be retained:
Beginning at a point 30 feet north of the
centerline of Bonneville Street and ten feet east
of the centerline of vacated Ninth Avenue; thence
north along a line parallel to and ten feet east of
the centerline of vacated Ninth Avenue to a point
30 feet south of the centerline of Shoshone Street.
C. The north/south alley in Block 13, Pettit's
Addition;
D. The north/south alley in Block 14, Pettit's
Addition;
E. The southerly ten feet of Shoshone Street, between
the east right-of-way line of Tenth Avenue and the west
right-of-way line of Eighth Avenue; except an
easement twenty (20) feet in width, lying ten (10) feet
on either side of the following line, shall be
retained:

Beginning at a point on the projection of the west
line of the north/south alley in Block 22, Pettit's
Addition, said point being 35 feet south of the
centerline of Shoshone Street; thence east along a
line parallel to and 33 feet south of the
centerline of Shoshone Street to its intersection
with the projected east line of the north/south
alley in Block 21, Pettit's Addition
F. The northerly ten feet of Bonneville Street,
between the east right-of-way line of Tenth Avenue and
the west right-of-way line of Eighth Avenue.
Section 2. That a certified copy of this ordinance
be recorded by the City Clerk of the City of Pasco in and with
the office of the Auditor of Franklin County, Washington.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect after its passage and publication as required by law.
