HomeMy WebLinkAbout2630 OrdinanceORDINANCE NO. 2630 AN ORDINANCE for the purpoose of closing out the Park Development Fund, the Golf Course Redevelopment Fund, and the Gift Catalog Fund. WHEREAS, certain special funds have been established by the City of Pasco which no longer serve any useful purpose, or could be accounted for elsewhere and it being in the interest of good accounting and bookkeeping procedures that these funds be closed, and that any monies still remaining therein be transferred to the specific funds noted below. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section One. The following funds are hereby closed and any monies remaining in these funds shall be transferred into the specific funds noted below. 1. Park Development Fund (Fund No. 191) Any monies remaining shall be .,transferred to Park District 7 of the ,Park Fund (Fund No. 192). 2. ;Golf Course Redevelopment Fund (Fund Vol. 315) No money remaining in the "Fund. 3. f,Gift Catalog Fund (Fund No. 180) Any money remaining shall be :transferred to Parks and Recreation Department of the General Fund and ipe utilized for its originally i intended purpose. Section Two. Chapter Nos. 3.30 and 3.49 of the Pasco Municipal Code are hereby repealed. Section Three. This Ordinance shall take effect five days after passage and publication.
