ORDINANCE NO. 2601
AN ORDINANCE vacating certain public rights-of-way within the
City of Pasco.
WHEREAS, RCW Chapter 35.79 authorizes the City Council of
Pasco to initiate, by resolution, street or alley vacation
proceedings; and
WHEREAS, all steps and procedures required by law to
vacate the public rights-of-way hereinafter described have been
duly taken and performed; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described portions of
certain street rights-of-way be and the same hereby are vacated
and the property so vacated shall vest in the rightful owners
thereof, all in the manner provided by law:
A) Cincinatti Street: That portion of Cincinatti
Street between the east line of California Avenue
and the west line of Colorado Street.
B) Idaho Avenue: That portion of Idaho Avenue between
the east line of Oregon Avenue and the north line of
Trinidad Street.
C) Montana Avenue: That portion of Montana Avenue
between the south easterly line of Oregon Avenue and
the north line of Cincinatti Street.
D) Colorado Avenue: That portion of Colorado Avenue
between the south line of Oregon Avenue/James Street
and the north line of Trinidad Street.
E) Nevada Avenue: That portion of Nevada Avenue
between the south line of James Street and the north
line of Trinidad Street; except that a full width
(80 foot) public utility easement shall be retained
thereon, to enable the construction, repair, and
maintenance of public utilities and services.
F) Arizona Street: That portion of Arizona Street
between the south line of James Street and the north
line of Trinidad Street.

Section 2. The alley rights-of-way within Blocks 5, 6, 7,
8, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 31, 32,
33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 39, 40, 41, 43, 44, 45, 46, 50, 51, 52, 59,
and that portion of 60 lying south of Oregon Avenue, all within
Frey's Addition, be and the same hereby are vacated and the
property so vacated shall vest in the rightful owners thereof,
all in the manner provided by law.
Section 3. That a certified copy of this ordinance be
recorded by the City Clerk of the City of Pasco in and with the
office of the Auditor of Franklin County, Washington.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect after its passage and publication as required by law.
