AN ORDINANCE dealing with the subject of personnel and setting
a salary schedule for non-represented city
employees
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON,
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 That Ordinance No 2529 is rescinded and superseded
by this ordinance
Section 2 The salaries of non-union, non-supervisory employees
of the City shall be within the limits as set forth in Exhibits I and II
attached, and to be effective January 1, 1986 Any reference to an
exhibit or contract incorporates the same by reference
Section 3 The monthly salary rates of non-union, non-supervisory
employees reflect an increase of two percent (2%) above the respective
1985 rates
Section 4 Entry Level (Level I) employees who satisfactorily
complete the required period of probation, shall be eligible to move to
the Competent Levels in the salary schedule
Section 5 Wherever a salary figure is given on a monthly basis,
the actual amount paid to the employee shall be computed as follows
The monthly figures shall be multiplied by twelve (12) to determine
the yearly figure The yearly figure shall be divided by 2080 hours
per year for the hourly rate Employees' salaries shall be computed
and paid on this hourly basis
Section 6 This ordinance shall become effective on January 1, 1986,
following its passage and publication as required by law
