HomeMy WebLinkAbout2528 OrdinanceORDINANCE NO. 2528 AN ORDINANCE creating a fund to be known as the "General Fixed Asset Fund;" and creating new Chapter 3.114 to the Pasco Municipal Code. WHEREAS, good and accepted accounting practices require that the City create a fund for the accounting and reporting of the general fixed assets of the City, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. New Chapter 3.114 of the Pasco Municipal Code is hereby created, which Chapter shall read as follows CHAPTER 3.114 GENERAL FIXED ASSET FUND Sections 3.114.010 CREATED. 3.114.020 USE. 3.114.010 CREATED. There is created a special fund to be known as the "general fixed asset fund" into which fund there will be placed the general fixed assets of the City, including, but not limited to, City owned land, buildings, equipment, machinery, furnishings, and the like. 3.114.020 USE. The general fixed asset fund shall be used for accounting and reporting purposes and for the safeguarding of the general fixed assets for the City. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect five (5) days after passage and publication as required by law.
