HomeMy WebLinkAbout2526 OrdinanceORDINANCE NO. 2526 AN ORDINANCE relating to zoning by changing the zone classification of certain real property within the South of "A" Street/ West of 10th Avenue area of the City of Pasco. WHEREAS, the City Council directed the Planning Commission to initiate a zoning study of properties generally located south of "A" , Street west of 10th Avenue and north and east of the railroad track line and to return a recommendation for any appropriate zone reclas- sifications therein; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission conducted public hearings to study said zoning (Planning Division Master File No. 84-24-Z) on October 24, 1984, and November 7, 1984, due notice of which was properly given, and issued its recommendation that the below-described parcels of real property be reclassified as specified below; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the record of the Planning Commission's proceedings and concurs in the recommendation of the Planning Commission; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS. Section 1. That the zone classification of the following described real property situated in Pasco, Franklin County, Washington, to-wit- Blocks 6 and 10, Riverside Addition, together with the vacated portions of "B" Street and Ainsworth Street adjacent thereto as depicted in the map attached hereto and identified as Exhibit 1, be and the same is hereby changed from I-1 (light industrial) to R-2 (medium density residential). Section 2. That the zone classification of the following described real property situated in Pasco, Franklin County, Washington, to-wit: Lot 10 Block 7 and Block 9, Riverside Addition, together with the adjacent right of way vacated under City of Pasco Ordinance No. 1158 as depicted in the map attached hereto and identified as Exhibit 2, be and the same is hereby changed from C-3 (general business) to R-2 (medium density residential). Section 3. That the zone classification of the following described real property situated in Pasco, Franklin County, Washington, to-wit: Lots 9 and 10 Block 5, Riverside Addition reg ell:16, City Attorney as depicted in the map attached hereto and identified as Exhibit 3, be and the same hereby is changed from R-3 (medium density residential) to R-2 (medium density residential). Section 4. That the zone classification of the following described real property situated in Pasco, Franklin County, Washington, to-wit: Lots 2 and 3 Block 11, Riverside Addition as depicted in the map attached hereto and identified as Exhibit 4, be and the same is hereby changed from R-3 (medium density residential) to R-2 (medium density residential). Section 5. That the zone classification of the following described real property situated in Pasco, Franklin County, Washington, to-wit: B2ock 26; Block 27; Lots 1-3 and 7-20 Block 28; Lots 4-20 Block 29, and Block 31, together with their respective rights of way vacated under City of Pasco Ordinance Nos. 1513 and31725; Riverside Addition as depicted in the map attached hereto and identified as Exhibit 5, be and the same is hereby changed from C-1 (retail business) to R-2 (medium density residential). Section 6. That the zone classification of following described real properties situated in Pasco, Franklin County, Washington, to-wit: Lots 11 to 20 Block 7, together TTith the vacated,portion of PB" Street adjacent thereto; and-,Brock 8 together with the right of way vacated under City of Pasco Ordinance No. 956 c• ' as depicted in the map attached herto and identified as Exhibit 6, be and the same is hereby changed from I-1 (light industrial) to C-3 (general business). Section 7. That any and all zoning maps be and hereby are amended to conform to the aforesaid zone changes. Section 8. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage and publication as required by law. PASSED by the City Council this day of 1984 and approved by the Mayor. s5e W.
