ORDINANCE NO. 2471
AN ORDINANCE relating to the Golf Course Advisory Committee
and amending Ordinance No. 2292.
WHEREAS, the Golf Course Advisory Committee has recommended
to the City Council that the voting membership of the committee be
expanded from seven (7) to nine (9) members to provide for the
greater representation of the golfing public and to broaden the
base of the committee; and
WHEREAS, the City Council after consideration has determined
that it would be in the best interest of the committee and the city
to expand the Golf Course Advisory Committe from 7 to 9 voting
members, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS
Section One. Ordinance No. 2292, passed by the City Council
on August 3, 1981, which provides that the Golf Course Advisory
Committee "shall consist of seven (7) voting members," is hereby
amended to read in pertinent part that: "the committee shall consist
of nine (9) voting members".
Section Two. The terms of the persons first appointed to fill
the two new positions on the Golf Course Advisory Committee desig-
nated below shall terminate on the date indicated below:
Position 8— August 1, 1985
Position 9 — August 1, 1985
Section Three. This ordinance shall take effect five (5) days
after passage and publication according to law.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this 17 day of October, 1983.
