ORDINANCE NO. 2430
AN ORDINANCE emending Section 5.20.100 of the Pasco Municipal
Code and relating to distributors of amusement
devices.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS.
Section 1. Section 5.20.100 of the Pasco Municipal Code is
hereby amended by the interlineations and additions by underlining
as set forth below, to read as follows
5.20.100 LICENSE FEES. The license fees to
be charged hereunder for electrical phonographs,
machines, tables, games or devices as specified
under Section 5.20.010, shall be five hundred
dollars per year, or any part thereof, for each
distributor who rents, leases, maintains, con-
ducts, or operates one or more such electrical
phonograph, machine, table, game or device, to
be known as a distributor's license. For purpose
of this chapter, a distributor is defined as a
person, firm or corporation who furnishes by any
means, except by retail sale, for compensation,
any of the electrical phonographs, machines,
tables, games or devices licensed under this
chapter for use in any business establishment
other than owned or operated by such person,
firm or corporation. In addition, the owner
or operator of any business establishment having
any electrical phonograph, machine, table, game
oi device, as defined in Section 5.20.010, on
said premises must pay a fee of
Annual License Fees
1 to 6 machines $ 50.00
Over 6 machines 100.00
or-fraeten-thereef. whether the machine or
machines are in place the full year or any
fraction thereof.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect five (5) days
after passage and publication according to law.
